We were on the Capri Club International stand at the Classic and Sportscar show at the NEC, Birmingham, UK November 2008.
Winner of "Best Modified Capri" class at the show. We won a nice silver plate and a bottle of wine!
Classic Ford Magazine came and did a professional photoshoot on the car on Monday 28th July.
The 2.9i Cosworth V6 here is an evolution of the 2.8i engine so it sits on the same mounts. A manual gearbox is required since Cosworth Scorpios were all automatic. The original type 9 box from the 2.8i isn't strong enough to last that long with 200BHP going through it so a Ford MT75 box replaces it.
About the trickiest bit is wiring in the ECU since the Cosworth engine has fully electronic fuel injection (unlike the mechanical injection on the 2.8i engine).
